This is one of the test shots available during a class that I took at the Draper Pictureline. The class was on getting your flash off of the camera and using some of the remote settings of the camera and flash. I liked how this turned out. They had a fish tank and dropped in a strawberry only after you connected with the two flash units that they set up and then prefocused on a hammer that they inserted in the tank. A lot of fun.

Stormy Spring on GSL
I was hoping for a brilliant sunset to break out of the clouds. Didn't happen. Time was not wasted however. I still liked the sunset... ish.

Great Salt Lake Panorama
I took two different Panoramas today. On the second I did not put the lens on Manual and it went out of focus in the middle. I shot 13 photos to make this panorama. The original file when I made the panorama was over 500 meg. It is over 5' high and 12' wide with high detail. A lesson learned from a George Lepp seminar. I liked how this turned out. Still need to do a little retouching in the sky.

Stormy Day at Great Salt Lake
I chased after the picture of the Peregrin for 20 minutes and this was the best shot. That smart little bird would fly off over the lake when I stopped the car. Varied his moves when I tried to predict his next move. Then flew over the interstate as a final gesture of contempt. Beautiful to watch. Tough to Photograph. Light was dim and the auto focus tried it's hardest. The pair of ducks presented themselves near the end of my outing. They were flying opposite to my travel. Quickly pointed and shot. Not tack sharp, but, I am working on it.
